Kate was honestly just the absolute BEST!!!! I cannot say more kind words about how amazing she was to work with. The thing that stood out the most was just how much she clearly cared about me and my now husband (WOO!) just having the best day of our lives. The entire lead up to the wedding she kept us on track, organised everything, answered all of our questions no matter the day or time and was just so available to us which was so helpful with our busy lives. But her care was the most evident on the day itself where she was so adaptable and just kept the show going and running smoothly even though it was so rainy and we had to made so many unexpected adjustments! She helped us through the rain and covered us with umbrellas at the expense of her own comfort, moved everything through the rain without question and was just everywhere she needed to be all at the same time. It was honestly unbelievable, i don't know how she did it but boy are we grateful we had her. If you're thinking about whether a wedding planner is worth it or not, we can say whole heartedly that it was the best money we spent on our wedding, worth every penny and more, and we will be forever grateful for her help in making our special day come alive.

Kate is an absolute legend and we couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

From the final planning stages right through to bump-out, she went above and beyond in every possible way. Even in those last-minute moments when we realised we needed to make a run to the printers for our menus, Kate had everything covered. She took care of the menu content, worked out the sizing and even calculated how many we’d need depending on the setup we chose — completely taking the guesswork and stress out of it for us.

And on the day itself, she was incredible. Kate runs a tight ship, but somehow manages to do it all with a smile, warmth and such a calm presence. We genuinely felt like we were in the most capable hands and could actually relax and enjoy our day knowing she had everything under control.

Even during bump-out, she was there helping us wrap up flowers for our guests to take home. It’s those little things that really show how much she cares and how far she’s willing to go to make everything easier.

Kate was an absolute star throughout the whole process. She made our day so much easier, took away so much of the mental load, and was exactly the kind of person you want by your side on such an important day.

We weren’t originally sure if we needed a wedding coordinator for our church ceremony, but after coming across Kate’s website, I decided to reach out. Looking back now, it was one of the best decisions we made.

From our initial meeting, I immediately felt reassured. Kate’s experience, organisation and calm presence gave me so much confidence, and I knew I wanted her by my side on our wedding day.

At our church rehearsal, I was completely overwhelmed trying to take everything in, but as soon as Kate arrived, she stepped in and took over. She made all the important notes, coordinated with our suppliers, and ensured everyone knew exactly what needed to happen. From that point on, I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

On the wedding day, Kate looked after not only me, but also our families, bridal party and guests. It wasn’t until a few days after the wedding, when I had time to reflect, that I realised just how much she had done.

Having Kate onboard in the lead-up to our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. From 10 weeks out, she kept us on track, guided us through the logistic process, and provided invaluable support every step of the way.

Kate was professional, detail-oriented, observant, calm, and incredibly kind throughout. Her communication was always clear, concise, and thoughtful, which gave us a lot more confidence and peace of mind during the final stages of the planning process.

I couldn't reccomend Kate at Hey Lovers highly enough. She was supportive, empathetic and diligent.

She pivoted with a smile, worked with compassion and firmness. My vendor team all said that she was the best wedding coordinator they have ever worked with.

If you think there is even a chance of having some family drama on the day or prior to the day, definitely have Kate as the logical third party.

As bad as it is, it's mostly the bride that does the liaising with vendors leading up to a wedding day which can be stressful, I made the decision to get the Wedding Coordinator and my (now) husband was originally hesitant to spend the money or even get the wedding coordinator. I can't tell you how many times in the final two weeks, he said 'what would we have done without Kate'.

The best thing we heard from our guests was my husband and I seemed like we were in our own world and everything was moving around us. We were extremely present with eachother all day and that is a testament to Kate at Hey Lovers.

We were thrilled with Kate's involvement from start to finish. Kate was always proactive in providing us updates on progress and took great initiative in reaching out to vendors etc to keep things moving.

Of particular note, we had our wedding in Fiji, where it can be hard to get in contact with vendors and staff. Kate did an amazing job getting the information we needed and keeping everyone in Fiji on track.

She was also fantastic on the wedding day remotely liaising with all of our providers on WhatsApp to ensure it all ran smoothly.

Highly recommend.
